Professional Poll on Dutch Econometrics undergraduate education, October 1999

The undergraduate program Econometrics of the Free University ranks one in The Netherlands according to a Dutch professors poll. The poll is carried out by Elsevier (a Dutch weekly magazine) and the results are presented in a special issue (October 1999). The ranking is (with percentage vote in parentheses):

• 1. Free University Amsterdam (24 %);
• 2. (shared) Groningen and Maastricht (18 %);
• 4. Rotterdam (17 %);
• 5. University of Amsterdam (12 %) and
• 6. Tilburg Universiry (10 %).
