Economics and Business Economics (Dutch taught)
The foundation course provides an introduction to the discipline. The subjects taught cover the area of business economics and general economics, such as Finance, Cost and Profit, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Organisation and Management, and Money and Banking. In addition, students are introduced to ancillary subjects such as Mathematics and Statistics, Elementary Bookkeeping, Financial Mathematics and Information Technology.
The foundation course continues into the first part of the second year. After this students may choose one of three main subject areas: General Economics, Business Administration and Business Economics. The program concludes with a work placement, a research project and thesis.
Fees for non EU/EEA-citizens
For the year 2009/2010, the annual tuition fee for Bachelor's programmes for non EU/EEA-citizens is € 7,000. If you wish to study the Bachelor's programme International Business Administration (tuition in English), the fee is € 5,500 per year.
