Spatial Economics obtains 6 postdoc positions in VERDUS programme
The NWO-VERDUS programme on Sustainable Urban Development has recently allocated research funds to a number of research proposals.
The VU Spatial Economics research group has been succesfull by having three proposals accepted:
- Analysing and Exploring Sustainable Urban Strategies (AESUS), Eric Koomen and Henk Scholten (2 postdocs of 2 years each)
- Implications of Location Preferences of Highly Educated Workers for Spatial Development of Metropolitan Areas, Jan Rouwendal and Jasper Dekkers (1 postdoc of 1 year and 2 postdocs of 2 years each)
- Transit Oriented Development in the Randstad, Piet Rietveld (1 postdoc of 2 years)
