TRENTO conference & workshop, 16-18 January 2001

On 16 January 2001 a GETS conference was organized in close cooperation with the province of Trento, titled: 'Environmental quality and management, methodologies and technologies for EIA and geomorphology'. The conference was a big success with over 200 participants from public administration, the research community and private industry in Italy. The conference was followed by a two days course in methodologies and computer techniques for EIA and environmental management. The course was directed to technicians and managers of the province of Trento dealing with data collection and management as well as to GIS users.

On these pages you can find the conference and course programme and all web-enabled powerpoint presentations of the GETS participants in the conference (mostly in Italian). The proceedings of the conference (in Italian) are currently prepared by the Province of Trento.
