What is Nectar?
• NECTAR (Network on European Communications and Transport Activity Research) is a scientific network. It is an association established in 1992 which emerged from the European Science Foundation Network.
• NECTAR is a European-based scientific association with a network culture. The primary objective is to foster research collaboration and exchange of information between experts in the field of transport, communication and mobility from all European countries and the rest of the world.
• NECTAR is concerned with transport and communication issues. These are closely connected with all aspects of the spatial behaviour of individuals, groups and governments.
• NECTAR is a multidisciplinary social science network. It brings together a wide variety of standpoints on transport and communication problems and their impacts on society in an international perspective.
