Membership
Dear NECTAR Members and Colleagues,
A new year is approaching, characterized by the success of the upcoming NECTAR International Conference in the Azores (16–18 June 2013). We received a very high number of abstract submissions, exceeding the planned number.
As the Conference expands in size, the NECTAR support has to increase as well. Therefore, the NECTAR Coordination Committee decided, for the first time in many years, to raise slightly (€10) the NECTAR membership fee, starting 2013.
Let me remind you that, in order to attend any NECTAR meeting, you need to hold a current NECTAR membership, and that a two-year membership (2012–13 or 2013–14) is required for the upcoming NECTAR International Conference. Membership entitles you to receive the usual benefits (no registration fee, as well as meals and accommodation for one night, or two nights at the International Conference).
You can renew your membership or become a NECTAR member following the usual procedure. The new membership fees for 2013 are:
- €70 or, for those under the age of 30, €40 (year 2013)
- €130 or, for those under the age of 30, €70 (two years: 2013 and 2014)
