Local Transport
Amsterdam’s excellent network of trains, trams, metro lines and buses allow travelers to move around quickly and conveniently at affordable costs. The public transportation system is in operation between approx. 6.00 am and 12.00 midnight. The facilities for local transportation are complemented by twelve nightly bus lines and taxis, which are abundantly available throughout the city at all times and at the airport and railway stations.
